Mariner Compass Volume 1 & 2 Review

The Mariner Compass CDs are stand alone block library programs (no drawing tools) that are designed to print blocks, Templates and foundation paper piecing blocks quickly and easily.

If you own Quilt-Pro for WIndows or Mac, when the program is installed the option to add the Mariners Compass blocks to your Quilt-Pro block library is offered using the Quilt-Pro File manager (version 3 or higher)

Operations:

Simple, everything you need is on one screen. Clicking on self-explanatory menus, buttons and blocks leads you to the next step.

Four simple steps and you are ready to start selecting fabric and piecing!

1. Use the block menu

3. Select the block to print. Block highlights in blue.

4. Select your print options by selecting one of three buttons: Templates, Foundation or Print.

5. Templates and Foundation allows the selection of Block size.

Square: check Keep Proportion
OR
Rectangle: uncheck Keep Proportion

Print Templates

After selecting Block size the ability to select ONLY those Templates that are Unique appears

Print Foundations

Printing Foundation allows you to Select measurements choice

The ablity to print Foundation Sections on separate pages keeps you from having to tape pages together*
*Exception: Section is larger than paper size
