Triangles on a Roll grid paper is the answer to the half-square triangle dilemma. It offers the most efficient and flexible method for making half square triangles.

The grid is a guide for sewing and cutting.
It is printed on a roll of paper that enables you to make as many or as few triangles as you want with two different fabrics.
It is available in many finished sizes.

A continuous paper grid for accurate sewing of half square blocks. Cut two fabrics as instructed on packaging for width and length to obtain the number of blocks needed. Lay fabrics right sides together, cut paper to ft and pin to fabric. Stitch on the dotted line, following the arrows. For best results use a fine needle and a short stitch. Rotary cut all solid lines and tear paper away.

Triangles on a Roll grid paper is the answer to the quarter square triangle dilemma. It offers the most efficient and flexible method for making perfectly pieced quarter square triangles.

The grid is a guide for sewing and cutting.
It is printed on a roll of paper that enables you to make as many or as few triangles as you want with any combinations of two to four different fabrics
It is available in many finished sizes

A continuous grid for less waste and more control of fabric combinations. A paper grid for accurately sewing half square triangle to be used for making quarter square triangle blocks. Cut two fabrics as instructed on packaging for width and length to obtain the number of blocks needed. Follow instructions on paper grid for sewing and cutting. For best results, use 18-20 stitches per inch.

Top Piecing Method for Flying Geese and Chevron Braid Borders
Mfg: Triangles on a Roll

Sew and Fold on a Roll is a continuous roll of 50 feet of paper with color-coded instructions demonstrating how to easily make flying geese and chevron braids.

Both flying geese and braids have many wonderful applications in quilt making, not the least of which is making distinctive borders. However, as you spend time designing more quilts, you can find many other uses for them.

Cut either triangles for the Flying Geese or strips of fabric for the Braids as indicated on the paper. Place the fabric pieces in their respective guides on the paper. Sew using 1/4" seams. Fold the fabric over the stitching and press. Add the next triangles or strip of fabric as indicated on the paper. Continue sewing until you have your desired length.
