Bendable Bright Light Information

The Bendable Bright Light is constructed with a quality metal flexible arm and metal light housing with a single LED with and 8ft low voltage power cord. The light snaps into the non-magnetic mount and won't harm electronics and adhesive holds mount on machine. Energy efficient LED, 100,000 light hours, 120 volts, no batteries needed.
90 Day Warranty

Bendable Light Placement

To choose the best placement on your sewing machine, please look at your machine carefully. Generally speaking, the best place to mount the light is on the LEFT end of the machine. There are many things to consider: the presser foot lifter, thread cutters, tension dials, thread guides and the thread take-up lever. Other things to consider may be the handle, any doors or covers that may open and close, the spool to needle thread path and any curves and angles etc. Some of these things may not apply to your brand of machine.

Clean the mounting surface with rubbing alcohol. Let them dry thoroughly. Insert the light base into the mounting bracket before attaching it to the machine. Place the light bracket release tab at approximately a 12:00 to 2:00 o'clock position. If the machine is curved, get the majority of the adhesive attached. Being careful not bend or bread the bracket, peel the protective backing from the adhesive and press firmly.

Cord Bracket Placements

For best placement of the cord clips run the cord along the back of the machine above the presser foot lifter, keeping clear of the thread path, belts and motors etc.

How to apply clips:

Separate the clips and the adhesive pieces from each other. Clean the mount surface the clips with rubbing alcohol and let them dry thoroughly.

Peel one side of an individual adhesive square and apply it to the back of one clip. Press firmly. The cord should slide into the clip from the top. Then peel the other side and apply it to your clean machine surface. Press firmly. Repeat for the remaining clips.

To remove or transfer light to another machine apply a few drops of GOO GONE®, let it set for 2 minutes to soften adhesive. Lift the clips/bracket slowly, once removed set aside with the adhesive side up for 15 minutes. After the GOO GONE® has evaporated the clips/bracket can be reapplied.

  • WARNING—To reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock, or injury to persons:
  • An appliance should never be left unattended when plugged in
  • Always unplug from the electrical outlet immediately after use
  • The light fixture may reach temperatures up to 120°F Caution Hot
  • Keep light well ventilated and clear of fabric and other items
  • Never use in or near water, aerosol products or administered oxygen
  • Do not look directly into the light when it is turned on
  • Never operate if it has a damaged cord or plug
  • Do not try to replace the bulb
  • Keep light cord clear of all fabric cutting areas
