Quilters Delight Safety Pin Grips

• Safety pins close effortlessly, preventing broken nails, stuck fingers (blood on quilts) and the familiar painful indentations in fingers caused by closing hundreds of safety pins.

How to use:

Lay Kwik Klip's brass tip on material approximately 1/8" from where the pin point will emerge. Use slight pressure to hold material down.

As pin point emerges, allow pin point to ride on and past brass tip 1/8". To close, push pin closure down and click safety pin together. Do not lift Kwik Klip from material to close pin. Use reverse procedure to remove pins.

Pin Installation:

• Installation instructions for #Steel, #2 Steel, #0 Brass, #1 Curved Steel and #2 Curved Steel. Press coil end with fingers, then snap in at middle slot. If pins come out in use, crimp over one or two edges to "lock in" pin. Additionally, #2 steel pins can be "locked in" by crimping over the very front slot.
• Installation instructions for #1 straight and curved brass pins. Press "coil end" in with fingers, then press coil end with pliers. Next press in middle slot, then press in at front slot. Brass pins are harder to insert and curved pins may need to be "locked in". Sometimes brass pins will bend slightly near coil end due to different manufactures wire sizes. If pins bend just lock them in.
