The very reasonable price makes Baby MAC an excellent quilt program to give children to introduce them to quilting. Baby Mac is easy-to-use and has a strong traditional orientation with a block design area and a 5x5 quilt block layout on the Main Screen. The program has a small library of blocks and borders. It has one-step layout of single blocks, alternate blocks or on-point and the potential to make sampler type quilts. It has limited drawing tools and color palette options. The lack of complication in this program make it good for children who is looking for quick learning and simplicity to ease them into computer quilting.
