Question: Can Stash fabrics be used in other Quilting software besides Electric Quilt?

Answered by Sharla Hicks: The Stash CDs interface is best suited to be used in conjunction with Electric Quilt but Stash does have the ability to export one fabric at a time as a bitmap. The exported bitmap fabric can be imported into the following software: Bargello Designer, Creative Impulse, PCQuilt, Quilt-Pro, QuiltSOFT, Repligator, and graphic programs like Adobe Illustrator and Corel Draw. Each of these programs uses bitmaps as their fabric file or fill format. NOTE: Stash also can help narrow down fabric choices to color and theme included on the CDs making it easier to find the fabric style needed. It also creates printouts of fabric selections that can be taken on a shopping trip. Overall, even though only ONE bitmap file at a time can be exported it is still faster than doing an individual scan each fabric.
