For PC users: How to download Demos from the Internet using Netscape or Internet Explorer:

Note: There are multiple ways to save a download file and all the options can be confusing, so I will show you only 2 choices to make it easier.

Choices:

1. Use your desktop to place your download folder. (This is the screen that is visible when no programs are open) This is an easy place to remember and find a folder because the folder is not buried in directories and subfolders inside of subfolders inside subfolders.

2. Download to a Floppy Disk, Zip Drive Disk, Jazz Drive Disk. This isolates the file to a disk and does not take up hard drive space.

NOTE of CAUTION: Scanning for viruses is a good idea when bringing new files to your computer from an outside source, especially .exe file, (Exe files are application file.) Every precaution is taken by us and by our server to make sure that no viruses are present in our download files. But caution is always the most prudent mode of action.

To create a Folder on your desktop:

Step 1: Right-click on an empty section of the Desktop (this is the screen that is visible when no programs are open) and a pop-up menu will appear.

Step 2:
To create a new folder: Go to NEW in the pop-up menu (see ), then drag the cursor to the arrow to open the side flyout menu that shows Folder. Select Folder (see ).

Step 3:
Change the name of the folder from New Folder to a name of your choice like Internet Download Files by doing the following:

a. Using your mouse, RIGHT-Click on New Folder (it will gray out).

b. Type in a new name for the folder (suggestion: Internet Downloads) or name of your choice.

Now you are ready to download a program from the Internet to your desktop folder.

Step 1: Click on the in the table on the Download Page. The File Download dialogue box will open.

Step 2:
Select the Save this program to disk option and click .

Step 3:
To select your download destination, click on the Up-One-Level Folder until the Desktop icon appears in the Save in: section as shown below.

In the File Name dialogue box (see below) type in the name you wish to save the demo as or leave the current name. To start the download, click save. NOTE: If there are multiple files in the folder, sometimes changing the name will make it easier to find

.Save As Dialogue Box

NOTE: Download time depends on the size of the file and the speed of your Internet connection, phone connection integrity and time of day for Internet Traffic patterns. Often evenings after work are quite busy and start up times for the business day are busy Internet browsing times result in slower download times and connection integrity can be more unstable. NOTE: If you get an interupted/partial download, retry again, if that fails, try at a later time.

The demos are self-extracting zip files. Once you have downloaded the file (see direction for downloading above if needed) simply click on the file and it will begin the setup process. If this does NOT work, go to next steps below.
