My fascination with vintage things started long ago, when I went along with my mother "junking". Although my mother was looking for antiques, I was just looking for "stuff". My mother's collection turned into an antique business, which eventually captured me.
I have had an antique "shop" for over 18 years, and still collect "stuff". Most of my items now come from estate sales. I find it very sad that no one in the family wants old letters, pictures or memorabilia from times past. Sometimes there is no one, because the owner of these wonderful things had no family. Enter me! I just can't let these beautiful treasures go unloved.
Over the years, I would save these little pieces of history in a shoebox, then the shoebox spilled into a box. After years of collecting, I now have boxes and boxes filled with my treasures. I find that collage artists really enjoy using ephemera in their artwork, and croppers and card makers need a never-ending supply.
I hope my collection of over 20 years, gives a home to these tiny pieces of history.

I became enamored with collage when I started altering books. I have some projects that need to be very small, and I love to explore the vast world of mini collage. As I play around, I realize that I have to resize a lot of things to make the small items I have grown to love. So, Mini-Ephemera was born. This book has over 400 wonderful tiny images. I included my favorites and hope you enjoy them.
You can ink and glaze the ephemera images right out of this book, or print them out on your home computer. If you want to make your ephemera stiff, glue it to a piece of cardstock before cutting it.
Some of the images fit bottle caps, slide mounts, circle mounts, dominoes and mini dominoes . Fee free to cut the other images to fit what you need as well!
But most of all have a great time with these images.
