Zentangle® for Kidz! Book Information
Zentangle® for Kidz! A Comic Guide with Alex &
Lilah is a 20-page introduction to Zentangle. The concepts and
tangles (patterns) are illustrated by cartoon character kids, Alex
and Lilah, who interact with the designs and have a rip-roaring
Well, there were a few close calls with some... slightly
dangerous... patterns. But no actual children or Lilah Beans were
hurt in the making of this book. Er... nothing that couldn't be
fixed with a little tape...

Children love Zentangle. I have been working with my grandchildren
and their friends for the last year (7-18 years old). Each
brings there own personality and joy to the art of Zentangle
and are creating some wonderful stuff. Now they find in Zentangle
for Kids a comic book written in THEIR language so they can
laugh and tangle wth Lilah & Alex using tangles designed
just for them!
Sandy wrote Zentangle for Kidz! using her own children
as the characters, Lilah her young preschool daughter and
Alex a young teenager. Each had input into what they wanted
in the book and Lilah Beans are from Lilah's drawings.
