Debbie Caffray is a self-published author of four books and eleven patterns. In addition, she has designed and published over sixty patterns in an ever-changing line of mysteries. Debbie has taught many energy-filled workshops nationwide for guilds and shops. These include Houston Quilt Festival, Minnesota Quilters Conference, Festival of Classes in Bend, Oregon and at Road to California. Debbie has recently contributed articles to Traditional Quiltworks magazine and has taped a guest appearance for HGTV's television program, Simply Quilts.
Debbie and her husband Dan have lived in Anchorage, Alaska, since 1979. They have raised three children, Monica, Erin, and Mark. Besides quilting, Debbie enjoys long walks and drives and experiencing new places. In the near future she and Dan plan to return to New Mexico. There they have purchased a small farm in the Middle Rio Grande Valley where they hope to spend many hours gardening and enjoying an outdoor lifestyle.
