From the author's introduction: When asked what idea or philosophy she would like to share with other quilter, Pat answers thoughtfully. "I want to encourage people to think of quilting as an open-ended process, because the possibilities are enormous. When I designed these quilt patterns, I wanted to present a format that people could make their own."
