EdtorAbout the Editor

Liz Aneloski's talents run the gamut from innovative quilting techniques to using photographs and embellishments in fun ways. She enjoys combining elements of her different passions to create new art forms. Liz Aneloski has been quilting since 1981. Her love of quilting began with her first class, which she took as a creative outlet while she stayed home with her two young daughters. The class opened the world of fabric and quilting to her. She especially enjoys trying new techniques that extend just beyond basic traditional quilting. Liz has been an editor at C&T Publishing since 1991. She lives in California with her husband; her two almost-grown daughters are not far away.

AuthorAbout the Author

Alex Anderson hosts HGTV and DIY Television Network’s popular show Simply Quilts. She has published over a dozen best-selling books with C&T Publishing. Alex Anderson's love affair with quiltmaking began in 1978, working toward a degree in art at San Francisco State University. Over the years, her focus has rested on understanding fabric relationships and on an intense appreciation for traditional quilting surface design and star quilts. For eleven years, Alex hosted television's premier quilt show, Simply Quilts, and is spokesperson for Bernina of America. Her quilts have appeared in numerous magazines, often in articles devoted specifically to her work. Alex has two children and lives in Northern California with her husband, their dog, and the challenges of feeding various forms of wildlife in her backyard.

AuthorAbout the Author

Sharyn Craig loves to see how many totally different quilts she can make with the same traditional block. She travels and teaches extensively and is known for her "Design Challenge" column in QuiltWorks Today magazine. Sharyn has always loved to sew and do crafts. In fact, she had been a Home Economics major in college, graduating with a degree in Clothing and Textiles. Just attending one quilting class made it clear what all that training had been leading up to. Today she teaches, lectures, and writes about her passion, quiltmaking, and has authored twelve previous books. She has also been a regular contributor to Traditional Quiltworks magazine, having originated the Design Challenge column. Sharyn lives near San Diego in El Cajon, California.

AuthorAbout the Author

Nancy Johnson-Srebro is highly sought after as a quilt-piecing designer, teacher, lecturer and show judge. She has developed No-Fail ® methods for accurate rotary cutting and machine piecing. In a three-year time period she made over 1000 miniatures. In 1989 Nancy astonished the quilt world by designing her first full size miniature quilt. These quilts are bed size, but are pieced with thousands of miniature pieces. She has made several others since then. They've been recognized with ribbons and awards from Quilt America!, A Quilter's Gathering, Quilters Heritage Celebration, American Quilter's Society (AQS), National Quilting Association (NQA), and American International Quilt Association (AIQA) Shows. Nancy has been a spokesperson for Omnigrid, a division of Prym Dritz, for over 13 years. In addition, Nancy lives in Pennsylvania with her husband, Frank. They have three grown children and one granddaughter.
