From the AuthorA happy accident... A few years ago, I made a quilt to celebrate our local quilt shop's move to a new location next to an ice cream parlor. I used a traditional block called Broken dishes, renamed undae Dises for the occasion. While swing the blocks, I turned the pieces the "wrong" way and accidentally created a new block! This became the Snowball Quilt. I wondered how many other possibilities there might be... I thought there might be enough different combinations to make a small sampler, but easily came u with 12 blocks for a lap size quilt ( with a few blocks left over). Our test classes found even more possibilities. It seems that each time you make a block, you get an idea for the next one. I'm sure that wen you make blocks for your Sampler quilt, you'll have just as much fun... and I bet you'll like some of the blocks enough to use them in a larger quilt. You can use the block layouts provided o create your own original quilts. Every block in this book is a 9-patch with a plain square in the center, confetti in the corners, and a chips-n-dip square on each side. All you really need to remember is to keep the confetti in the corner! Have Fun!
