A pioneer of miniature quilts in the Netherlands, Els Feteris-Stam has also helped minis make their mark in the United States. Simple Pleasures is the sixth popular book she has authored on quilting. A sought-after teacher, Els has won numerous top awards in the prestigious annual Miniatures from the Heart Contest. Through her patters company, Bobbin, Els markets her designs that have an appealing folk-art feel.
