About the Author

Mickey Depre has been sewing since early childhood, and began her quiltmaking journey in the late 1980's as an outlet for her creative spirit. After making a few traditional quilts, all was set aside with the arrival of her twins in 1990. She found her way back to quilting in 1997, when school sessions brought free time back to her life. Mickey says she will never leave quilting again.
