About
the AuthorJulie Popa began making quilts 14 years ago to share with her friends and family—something she loves to do! She received her B.S. in interior design in 1999 and, as this book exemplifies, she enjoys incorporating those design principles into her quilting, using color to detrmine the mood of a project. Julie founded Sunflower Hill Designs in 2001 to begin marketing her patterns, and she has enjoyed developing her hobby into a profession.
Julie resides in Snithfield Utah, with her husband, Sean, and four children, Shanae, Alexis, Jaelyn, and Stockton. She has relished the challenges of creating this, her first book, and looks forward to many more to come.
