Fat 8ths and Friends, Volume 1 by Marsha McCloskey. All the patterns in this little book are written for Fat 8ths. Buying Fat 8ths is an easy and inexpensive way to get the variety of prints needed to make these cheerful scrap quilts. Marsha picked these six quilt patterns to be used with her 2006 collection of fabrics, Fat 8ths and Friends, for In the Beginning. We hope you enjoy the fun and whimsy of these prints inspired by the fabric designs from the 1930s and 1940s. Reproduction prints from this era here to stay, so even if you cant find the exact prints to reproduce these quilts, you will always be able to find something similar.
