About the Author
Patty Albin has been avid quilter for more than twenty-five years and
has always loved the traditional look of quilts. With the advent of twenty-first-century
sewing machines and the creative opportunities that pre-programmed machine embroideries
offer, she's become passionate about incorporating these designs into her quilts,
as well as showing others how to do so. Formerly, Patty owned a quilt shop and
was an associate editor of Quiltmaker magazine. Currently, she is an AQS Certified
Quilt Appraiser and is the Director of Education for Viking Distributing Company
in Medford, Oregon. Patty designed the Beautiful Baltimore embroidery collection
for Husqvarna Viking. |
