Judy Sisnero's first memory of sewing is of making doll clothes as a child. Her first sewing lessons began with the birth of her first daughter in 1964. She began quilting in 1987, taking quilt classes at a local adult school.
After a move to California's far north coast, she began making landscape quilts. Her first book, Simply Landscapes, was published in 1994. Judy has been teaching since 1993 and feels fortunate to be making a living doing something she loves.
Judy's workshops include landscape quilts, quilts using traditional blocks in a nontraditional way, and original design blocks. She is available to teach and lecture nationwide. Her love of people, travel, and fabric makes her an enthusiastic teacher! Kits are available for purchase. Judy has three grown children and seven grandchildren. She lives in Rocklin, California, near Sacramento.
Combining a special fabric with a few easy nine-patch blocks yields captivating quilts ranging from sassy to sophisticated. You'll get hooked on this technique! Judy provides sixteen different layouts for unlimited project potential.
