the Author
A best-selling author, celebrated teacher, and award-winning
quiltmaker, Carol Doak has greatly influenced the
art and craft of quiltmaking for more than a decade. Her
accomplishments include a collection of popular books, including
300 Paper-Pieced Quilt Block, 50 Fabulous Paper-Pieced Stars,
Show Me How to Paper Piece, Your First Quilt Book (or it
should be!) and Easy Machine Paper Piecing.
It's no secret that Carol has helped increase the popularity
of paper piecing, her trademark technique, through her innovative
designs and easy-to-follow instructions. As a teacher, Carol
is known for her infectious enthusiasm for quiltmaking. She
