Back Cover InformationA Layer Cake is a bundle of 40-10" squares of fabric which equals about 3 yards. Some of the patterns, in this book use all 40 Layer Cake squares, but some don't. For these quilts, pick out the squares you like to provide the finished look you want. One of the most difficult things about using Layer Cake squares in your quilt is laying out the blocks when they are finished. Often, the same color or the same fabric design will end up next to each other. So, you will need to take your time in laying out your blocks and move them around until you are satisfied. Layer Cake are perfect for those of you who love the 'scrappy' quilt look. About the AuthorsMix 1 cup common sense with sweet gall who went to school with nearly everyone. Let rise. Throw in 1 college degree, 1 foreign language, 8 bars of music and an array of unmastered talents. Bake until gold blonde, keeping busy always.
