About the Author
Sue Beevers knows her life is a creative journey.
Playing with fiber all of her life, Sue started out as a
weaver, dyer, and spinner and has written articles, taught
workshops, and had her work featured in five books on these
topics. Her creativity extends into art and music. As the
violoncello instructor at Hamilton College in upstate New
York, she also sews, knits crochets, and tatsbut since
discovering painting and quilting, she has never looked back.
Sue says her life revolves around being outdoors. Her major
interest is the natural cycles in the worldthe seasonal
changes and the cycles of growing things.
She loves teaching classes. Her biggest kick in life is to
watch people take something they already know and look at
it differently.
Sue has been married to David for more than 30 years. She
has two grown children and two grandchildren. She teaches
quilting and fabric painting and designs fabrics for RJR
Fabrics.
