Linda Turner Griepentrog was the editor of Sew News magazine for 19 years, and currently owns G Wiz Creative Services (so named because no one can pronounce her last name). Linda writes, edits, plays and sews for a number of companies in the sewing and craft industries. In addition, she leads fabric shopping tours to various destinations in the US and abroad. Once a weaver (and now wishing she had time to do it), Linda loves fibers and needle felting lets her play with them in another way. Working from her basement office, Linda lives outside Portland, Oregon, with her husband, Keith, and two dogs, Riley and Buckley.

Pauline Wilde Richards has been sewing since she was a child. She has taught clothing construction at the high school and college levels and is the publisher of Total Embellishment Newsletter, a quarterly newsletter for creative sewing and embellishment enthusiasts. For the past 13 years she has worked as a freelance writer and teacher. Her work has been featured in Sew News, Creative Machine Embroidery and Better Homes and Gardens Creative Home. She is known for her innovative techniques, practical advice and ability to convert leftover fabrics and trims into spectacular, one-of-a-kind wearables. Pauline is a proud grandmother who lives in Salt Lake City, Utah, with her husband, John, children and Powder, the family dog.
