Back Cover Information

Create Beautiful Machine Quilting with Almost No Marking

  • An elegant alternative to stippling or meandering for all-over quilting, or give your quilt the look of Sashiko without the slow hand sewing.
  • Many designs can build into more intricate patterns by simply adding more lines.
  • Scalable patterns are easy to enlarge or reduce to fit even odd-shaped spaces.

Author Charkitte Warr AndersenAbout the Author

Charlotte Warr Andersen is an avid and well-known quilter. She is a native of Salt Lake City, Utah. She learned many needle skills from her mother, but most of her quilting skills were self-taught or acquired by good observation. She lives with her husband, Eskild, two of her four children, and three dogs, Scruffy, Hugo and Legion

Most known for her pictorial quilt, Charlotte has authored two previous books. Faces & Laces - Images in Appliqué and Focus on Features - Life like Portraits in Appliqué. Unfortunately, these books are both out of print. Stitching a portrait is still her favorite pastime.

Charlotte travels to teach her stitching and quilting methods. Currently, she is serving as the president of the International Quilt Association.
