IntroductionThe illustrations here can be brought to life in many different ways with a whole range of stitches and techniques. You do not have to be a skilled artist to create an original piece of work when using this book, but can interpret your chosen design and develop it using the wonderful range of threads. Chose fabrics that compliment the design. The beauty of embroidery is in the way the stitches are worked, the play of light on the threads, and the textured or smooth contrast with the fabric surface.
