Author Rita Fishel About the Author

Rita is a nationally known speaker and teacher and president of Creations SewClever, Inc., in Chillicothe, Ohio. She's a native of Northeastern Ohio with a B.A. in clothing & textiles/business from the University of Akron. Rita, her husband, Ron, and their four children lived for many years in the Desert Southwest where she was a clothing designer and custom seamstress. In the late 1980s, the family relocated to a small farm in rural southern Ohio. It was the perfect place to raise a family, but there was not much demand for a custom dressmaker. In 1992 a wonderful opportunity presented itself and Rita bought a small quilt shop. She had discovered the career of her dreams! All of the quilts shown in this book evolved from the many Mystery Classes Rita has taught over the years. When designing the pattern for a Mystery Class, the quilt needs to be completed in one afternoon and be easy for quilters of any skill level. The quilt patterns contained in this book are from the Sunday Mystery Classes at Creations SewClever. We hope you'll reach a solution that delights you!

Today Creations SewClever is a busy quilt shop with a fabulous, friendly, funny staff of over 20 people. If you ever find yourself in southern Ohio, be sure to stop by the old funeral home now known as Creations SewClever. Rita and her friendly staff are dying to show you around!
