About the Author

Karina Hittle and her husband, Audie, live in the breathtaking woodlands of northeastern Massachusetts. They enjoy peaceful country living and running their design studio, Artful Offerings, which currently specializes in the creation and publication of craft, quilting and stitchery patterns "from folk art for fancy." Audie manages the marketing business development and sales tasks for Artful Offerings, enabling Karina to focus on designing.

By combining all the facets of art that she enjoys, Karina has developed an eclectic style that inspires the designs for Artful Offerings. She is passionate about creating an artfully fun and memorable experience for her customers, which evokes an element of excitement and surprise from the moment they first see her patterns through the entire creative process!

Besides being an award-winning quilt artist, Karina, is a prolific designer and has published roughly 100 patterns under the Artful Offering brand. She has also designed patterns and artwork for numerous magazines since founding the company about five years ago. Her designs have been featured in leading industry publications, such as Better Homes & Gardens Holiday Crafts, Christmas Ideas, and Halloween Tricks & Treats, in addition to Fons & Porter's Love of Quilting, Quilt, Appliqué Quilts, Create and Decorate, Somerset Home, Australian Homespun and Quilting Professional.
