About the Author

Janet Edmonds studied stitched textiles at East Berkshire College and went on to gain a BA in Art and Design at the University of Hertfordshire. She now teaches at East Berkshire College and the world-renowned Missenden Abbey in Buckinghamshire, and she travels regularly on behalf of the Embroiderers' Guild.
