John has won thirty digitizing awards and has produced twenty-nine instructional and educational how-to-DVDs which apply to embroidery enthusiasts on all levels.

John has give hundreds of workshops and seminars on digitizing, embroidery techniques and running an embroidery business. He has taught at numerous venues including ISS Shows, DAX Shows, Bobbin World, Imprint Canada, Original Sewing and Quilt Expo.
