IntroductionThis collection of eye-catching quilts, pillows and other decoratives were created in just four weeks. Inspired by the magnificent French countryside, Purely Provence captures the essence of the Provence region in France.
About the DesignerMy dear friend, Yvonne McFadden, introduced me to the love of vintage textiles and searching through flea markets for a perfect addition to our many collections. She introduced me to boot sales, London flea markets and antiquing adventures beyond my wildest imagination. Five years ago we rented an apartment in Paris and enjoyed the search of famous flea markets for great French chintz fabrics. The inspiration for my second fabric group, Purely Provence, was not from an exotic European flea market as you might expect, it was found on another trip to the wonderful state of Iowa. Whether in the French countryside, quaint towns or large cities, vibrant color always surrounds you. I am drawn to color. I love deep reds, vivid rusts and rich greens. I hope you enjoy sewing with this new group as much as I did collecting and mixing prints.
