About the Authors

Linda was the editor of Sew News Magazine for 19 years and currently owns G Wiz Creative Services (so named because no one can pronounce her last name).

Linda writes, edits, plays and sews for a number of companies in the sewing and craft inductees. In addition, she leads fabric shopping tours to various destinations in the U.S. and abroad.

Working from her basement office, Linda lives outside Portland, Oregon with her husband Keith and two dogs, Riley and Buckley.

Missy made the leap to her own home-based business after years of working as an illustrator, graphic artist, designer and technical support person. She now commutes across the lawn to Shepler Studios with her husband Scott - and far more fur-friends than she cares to admit to having. Most of her days are spent staring at the computer screen, pushing pixels around and drawing, designing, writing and working on client Web sites. Whenever possible, Missy escapes upstairs to the sewing studio to stitch, embellish and just have fun with fabric.
