About the Author

Jake Finch started sewing in 1987 when she gave up her credit cards-but not her love of new clothes. In 2000,while pregnant with her daughter and craving participation in the sacred sisterhood of the fiber addicts, Jake joined her first guild and mini-group. Along the way she discovered scrapbooks. Bringing together her love of paper, words, and pictures and presenting them in an attractive manner made her journalist's heart sing - and her husband sigh at his wife's new addiction.

Married to Stephen for 20 years, Jake lives in Simi Valley, California, with their daughter, Samantha and two cats. She loves to hear from others who share her obsessions.
