About the Author

Meryl Ann Butler has been a professional artist and educator since 1974. She created the historic First U.S.-Soviet Children's Peace Quilt Exchange Project and was faculty adviser and designer for the Love For All Mankind Anti-Apartheid Quilt, which is now in Nelson Mandella's collection. She is a five-time Fairfield/Bernina Fashion Show designer whose wearable art and fiber art wall hangings appear worldwide.
